Ich bin Tech-Unternehmerin und habe als frühe Partnerin, Gründerin und Leiterin von Marketing & Business Development erfolgreich Unternehmen in den Bereichen Softwareentwicklung und KI gegründet.


Meine Leidenschaft ist es, Start-ups und Unternehmen aus einer strategischen, digitalen und neuen Führungsperspektive zu beraten. Ich ermögliche es ihnen zu wachsen und über zukünftige Trends zu lernen. Zuvor habe ich für internationale Unternehmen wie Bayer, TX und die Zühlke Gruppe in funktionsübergreifenden Teams in den Rollen des agilen Business Analysten, Projektmanagers und Beraters gearbeitet.

How my Journey with

Digital Assistants and AI Started


In 2011 (birth of Siri), I started to develop my first digital assistant for E-Commerce. At that time, my colleagues had not even heard the words "avatars" or "digital assistants". You can see what the avatar I created with Voki and JavaScript looked like.


As part of my master's thesis on "The Quality and Usefulness of Avatars as Digital Service Agents on the Social Web" at the University of Basel, I studied the motivations for using digital salespeople and establishing trust in digital assistants when shopping online. My research results were published in 2013 in the book Service Management and Social Media.


It is one of the first quantitative studies on digital assistants in Switzerland.

2010 - Symptomatic Guide for Healthcare


When I was a project manager at Bayer, I worked on a symptomatic assistant for women's healthcare.


It was a rule-based assistant (often called "click-bots") because the technology was not yet as advanced to create intelligent assistants using NLP as it is today.


... A few AI winters and summers passed, and the technology improved significantly with Deep Learning ... 


2016 - The Year of Messenger Bots and VoIP


In 2016, Messenger bots emerged. This was the next wave of digital assistants coming to businesses. 


But they still lacked something crucial: a human and customer-centric focus. The art of human-computer interaction, also called "conversational design" by experts, is a crucial success factor in the development of conversational experiences like chatbots or voice assistants. 


While working in the Voice over IP (VoIP) department at the Swiss Telecommunications Provider Swisscom, I saw how Internet telephony works. The potentials for automated interactive voice response systems (IVR) were fascinating me.

2017 - Experimenting with Smart Glass and STT + TTS from Nuance


When I was Head of Marketing and Business Development at Dataphone AG (now ProLogistik Group), I also implemented strategic product pipelines with new technologies. 


To enable a consistent E2E experience of our products, I was asked to support the development team with my experience in CX approaches and design. This ranged from retail ordering apps to smart glass applications to scanning solutions. That's how I got involved with pick-by-voice in 2017. 


I created multimodal mockups and tested a lot with the Nuance Engine's Smart Glass + Text-to-Speech output. You can see my designs in the image.


In the end, it was amazing to see how pickers in stores or warehouses could order their items by voice - quickly and hands-free.

2019 - Best Thesis for Shopbot in Computer  Information Systems


After my world trip in 2018, I was full of energy to finish my second Master in Computer System Management at ZHAW.


While I was studying and working full time, I didn't have much time to do my shopping. So I literally dreamed of a personal assistant that would take care of my purchases. "Shoppi" was born - a conversational commerce assistant.

2019 - Foundation of Voicetechhub + Teaching


In 2019 I decided to bring my experience with digital assistants to a next level and founded Voicetechhub.


With Voicetechhub I share my experience with voice assistants, chatbots, voice search optimization, customer-centered AI strategy and leadership (organization), conversational AI, NLP and digital humans (avatars) in the metaverse.


With my partnerships and knowledge I advise companies in the fields of customer-centered strategies and how to leverage their business with AI.


Finally in 2019, ZHAW instroduced a new course - chatbot development and conversational interfaces - for advanced digital marketers which Voicetechhub created from scratch.


2019 to 2022 - Growing the Chatbot Startup Paixon


At the same time, I joined the chatbot startup Paixon as Partner and Member of the Executive Board.


I was responsible for bootstrapping the company with the focus on sales, marketing, business development, partnerships.


Besides co-leading and growing the team from the initial founders/partners to 7 FTE within 2 years, our team realized award-winning voice assistants and chatbots in the role as a PO / agile project manager and certified conversation designer. Some of the exciting projects and products my teams developed are listed below.



Private Life

I grew up very international and bilingual, living in the UK and France and traveling to many countries around the world.


I'm a geek at heart, since 2016 I've been passionate about virtual reality, gaming and AI painting. In the Verkehrshaus Lucerne, you can play two funny hybrid (physical + digital) games I invented and developed with the development team at my former company: Scanning Hero and Picking Hero.


As a role model in the tech world, I want to pave the way for young people and female entrepreneurs to be bold and have their voices heard. Switzerland lags behind other countries when it comes to work-familiy reconciliation for both - men and women. That should change not in five, ten or fifty years, but now. Besides, I am also involved in technology-driven NGOs to support poor children and in decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs) to enable people around the world to create a new digital future in trusting collaboration.
